Hi,

Variable name for ignore_admin_path which you can access through YAML and Drush is a bit confusing when you read the label you can reach in admin.

Variable name:
ignore_admin_path:

Label:
Allow redirections on admin paths.

From my point of view, setting this variable to TRUE should disable redirections on admin part of the project... which is exactly the opposite.

#3 patch has been tested and it's working fine. After applying the patch the label has been changed to "Ignore redirections on admin paths".
