Commerce Shippo module for Drupal 7 provides real-time shipping cost estimates for various shipment carriers e.g. UPS, USPS, DHL Express, Canada Post, FedEx, etc. and shipping label creation along with tracking information functionality using Shippo's shipping API (for more information on Shippo platform, visit goShippo).

Commerce Shippo is different from modules with similar functionality (e.g. Commerce UPS, Commerce Connectship, etc.) in a few aspects as mentioned below:

  • Integrates lot more internationally recognised shipment carriers. You can go through a list of supported carriers over here.
  • Provides shipment label creation functionality. Shipment labels are created after shipment rate purchase and exposed through urls in PDF format, ready to print.
  • Exposes shipment parcel tracking urls.
  • Provides two separate modes - Live (for production purposes) and Test (for testing purposes) via different API keys.
  • Shippo also provides its own discounted rates via default carriers activated right on the Shippo dashboard.
