leisurman commentedhiramanpatil, In my case I am using drupal groups. I posted my findings over here as well.

You can do it with a custom theme template if your output is types but in my case I am suing bundles. But It should be easy like it was in D7 where you can do it in the menu.

cilefen commentednode/add isn't a menu. Where and how have you changed the order of these on the administration menu? They aren't on that menu.

pameeela commentedThanks for reporting this issue. We rely on issue reports like this one to resolve bugs and improve Drupal core.
As part of the Bug Smash Initiative, we are triaging issues that are marked "Postponed (maintainer needs more info)".
Since there were no specific steps to reproduce the issue provided since the issue was postponed or #2693485: Content types are ordered by machine name on /node/add page (+ similar issues with other entities) was suggested as duplicate, I'm marking the issue "Closed (duplicate)". I also added a comment to that ticket indicating this and adding credit for leisurman.
If anyone can provide information on why this issue is different, please add complete steps to reproduce the issue (starting from "Install Drupal core"), document those steps in the issue summary and set the issue status back to "Active".
Thanks!
