In admin settings add a text field so that user can define a default value for the avatar's "name" (if no value entered fallback to current behavior). In my use case, avatars are added through bulk update only: as I use CC licensed avatars, I must add proper credit "linking" back to original image. I would then use the default to reference a local "credits page" listing all authors. Thank you.

stella CreditAttribution: stella commentedCan you provide more information? At present, if no name is defined then the filename is used instead. This is what happens with the bulk upload method. Is it that you want the ability to set a default name for all avatars uploaded via a bulk upload?
Cheers,
Stella

stella CreditAttribution: stella commentedI've added this feature. Try the attached patch or the latest dev release (available later today). The default avatar name will be taken from the name field on the same form. If this is left empty, then the filename will be used.

Stella
