blog.tpl.php in your theme folder

Hi,
Just write the node-blog.tpl.php in your themes folder.Just copy the node template file and changing the layout as per your wish.

What about the instance that you would like to differentiate from "/blog/1" page and the node page for that blog content type? What would the nomenclature be for the node-blog-something.tpl.php? or will that even work
