Release notes

File entity 8.x-1.0-beta2

This release ships with only one change since beta1. We chase a BC breaking change in the Entity browser module, which happened in #2763505: Move file_entity and file_browser's Field Widget for Files and Images to Entity Browser. Since then Entity browser started shipping field widget for file and image fields, which made the widget that was provided by the File entity module obsolete.

In #2767185: [Follow-up] Deprecate file/image field widgets which were moved in the Entity browser we removed the obsolete widget and provided update path that switches to the one provided with the Entity browser module. This requires Entity browser 8.x-1.0-alpha7.
