I was trying to migrate my theme from D7 to D8, and I noticed that I can add each node's title property to the panel but not wrap it in a H1 tag. This is essential to me and I'm sure for many other users for seo reasons. For my particular use case each page is built off a default template that has a big hero image featured at top of the page pulled from a image field on the node, followed by the Node Title as a h1.

I'm sure there's some fancy way of doing this with the title specifically, but I'm sure from a content admin perspective wrapping a node's text field and node property would be essential to content management. Either that or adding a class to the content under the gear.

Not only SEO, but accessibility as well.

I think this is important for accessibility as well.

It has been over a year since the last comment. Any progress on this issue? We, also, need this ability to assign Node Title as an h1.

Our panelized pages are built like so in D7 and we need to replicate this in D8 to remain within our organization's branding standards:

{Site-wide Template}
-Universal Header
-Site Title
-Site Menu/Navigation Bar

{Panelizer - Customizable}
-Hero Image
-Breadcrumbs
-Node Title
-Node Content

{Site-wide Template}
-Universal Footer

But there is currently no way to make the Node Title inside the Panelizer (IPE) a h1 with a custom class, which we need for accessibility, SEO, and proper page structuring.
