Hi, I'm Jacquelyn. I'm a content strategist and copywriter who specializes in website copy and strategy, content support, and email sequences.

Before starting my own business, Waymarks Web Solutions, I was a frontend Drupal developer and website administrator.

Nine years were dedicated to supporting Arizona State University as part of the Graduate College and then the office of the Provost. I first began working with Drupal during the upgrade process of D6 to D7 and continued during the big shift from D7 to D9. At various points in time, I was responsible for managing a portfolio of around 30 websites, trained student workers and content editors, and supported the university's wider branding initiatives.

I then moved to Pantheon as a engagement manager for the Professional Services, which is a fancy title that means I was a client onboarding project manager for high-value clients migrating onto the platform. Due to my technical background, I shifted into the technical migrations consultant role and migrated dozens of Pantheon clients' complex Drupal 7 and 9 sites as well as WordPress and WP Network Sites onto the platform, QA, and re-launch. At the same time, I began working on improving internal team process documentation and developing Jira dashboards for capturing and monitoring important metrics.

Since mid-July 2023, I have earned the Google Project Management Certificate, became a certified copywriter from a prestigious program, and opened my own business, Waymarks Web Solutions, that combines my technical background and client-facing experience with my love of writing.
