I suppose I would have to hack javascript unless there's some setting somewhere that would make all the menu items float left in that little javascript widget. I only have a right sidebar so it's awkward having that widget on the right.

It was coded to try and detect its location and if in the right sidebar hover left instead of right. My recommendation would be to get used to Drupal Administration Menu, as the store links block won't be making it into Drupal 6.
