tterranigma commentedActually, the included with the module README.txt is the old README.txt from the Drupal 6 version as far as I can tell. I tried to update it, however it surely needs a look from the devs, especially on the hidden variables (two of them are missing their description).
megachrizGood idea to update the README.
We should indeed look up what these two variables exactly do.
This is only used during tests and only used by the feeds_tests module. Therefore, I don't think that this variable should be documented in the README.
tterranigma commentedActually, the 'Testing' section in the README includes only a link to the documentation. So, to keep it consistent, we can omit the feeds_tests_feeds_after_parse_empty_items variable in the README and update the documentation at http://drupal.org/node/622700 (which could use some refactoring).
megachrizWow, talk about outdated. Never knew that there was an installation testing profile for Feeds. I don't think such a profile is needed anymore. I have run tests fine all the time since I started with developing on Feeds (now about three years ago). Let's remove that section from the README.
I'm not sure if the "feeds_reschedule" should be documented in the README. I found out it is more or less a status variable: it determines which importers should be rescheduled. I think it can lead to unexpected results if that variable is permanently overridden in settings.php.
