3.x changes documentation

Hello,

Thanks for a great module that I have used for many years on most of the sites we create.

One of the major appeals of weight was it's simple no nonsense approach to ordering nodes. Today I used Drush to install Weight and Entity was a requirement and things seem to have completely changed. No default view, not under edit content type, etc...

Is there any documentation or explanation to what has changed, and possibly why? In the meantime, I think I'll go back to 2.x.

I really appreciate all of the contributors time and effort!
