When the search box pane has no #default_value and there is no value in the form_state this error shows after clearing the cache:

Notice: Undefined index: args in apachesolr_panels_form_apachesolr_panels_search_form_alter() (line 138 of sites/all/modules/contrib/apachesolr_panels/plugins/content_types/apachesolr_form.inc).
Notice: Undefined index: args in apachesolr_panels_form_apachesolr_panels_search_form_alter() (line 142 of sites/all/modules/contrib/apachesolr_panels/plugins/content_types/apachesolr_form.inc).

After inspecting lines 138 and 142 of the file apachesolr_form.inc, if either $arg[1] and $arg[3] variables are empty then this notice will show.
