Is this module going to be upgraded or merged with https://www.drupal.org/project/text_resize?

CZ commentedHello, I'm here.
Is the module (as it is) still necessary (function without Javascript)?
mgifford@CZ I don't understand your question.
CZ commentedThe discussion: https://groups.drupal.org/node/85254
Comment #5
mgiffordIt is a function that many sites still want. Whether it is merged with similar functionality or not.
CZ commented@mgifford thanks for your answer (my English is the best ;-) ). ok, a function not only vor web accessible websites?
mgiffordSome clients find it to be a more usable solution.
CZ commentedNow I'm working on it.
mgiffordThanks!

CZ commentedThe screen shots in Google Chrome (no coding required).
CZ commentedBetter we merge this module with the page style module for one single block, like the reader mode in Firefox or the Reader extension or dark-background-light-text-extension for Firefox or hight contrast extension for chrome?
New Modul
User Settings (in one block)
Font Size [-] [0] [+] 100% (form option defined in the admin settings page)
Font: [Serif] [Sans-serif] ...
Color: [#ffffff]
Background Color: [#000000]
Page Style [Black/White] [White/Black] ...(form option and themes defined in the admin settings page)

mgiffordI can see that there would be advantages in integrating this with https://www.drupal.org/project/pagestyle
Even just for a maintenance perspective. Having an option to give users a range of customization would be great.
Could be kinda like the widget BBC uses http://www.bbc.co.uk/accessibility/ or for that matter http://blindness.org/
In reviewing the sites here https://groups.drupal.org/node/268908 a lot of groups had both modules enabled.
mgiffordAny concerns with releasing your tarball as a release at this point?
Seb.R commentedHi,
I've just installed and tested for a few minutes.
It works fine, but I had an issue after saving the settings.
In the file textsize.settings.js the first line was changed to "var textsizeDest = /" which lead to a JS error.
CZ commentedno time, no big help, (d8 is not big)...
mgiffordMight be worth changing the project page to point folks to https://www.drupal.org/project/text_resize
It would make sense for Page Style to be the master if the two @CZ is maintaining are going to be merged.

NewCreation commentedAny idea of when this module can be ready for D8? In my D7 sites I use both PageStyle and TextSize. Haven't created any D8 while waiting for these. Now I inherited a D8 site so am wanting these or something to replace them. I got spoiled by what they could do. Updates?
