entity_extract_ids around line 618 in ds.module is using $object which is transformed to 'term' on line 614 when dealing with taxonomy terms. This is not desirable since entity_extract_ids will return 'term' to $bundle variable which will cause the template suggestions for taxonomy terms to be less specific than it could be.
