Here is a patch, as per The README template documentation. Feedback welcome.

While writing documentation for $config['environment_indicator.indicator']['position'] and $config['environment_indicator.indicator']['fixed'], I discovered that they are no longer used, so I have removed the documentation that mentions them.

Note this does not update the hook_help() documentation except to remove the position and fixed settings. I've run out of time to do this tonight, but I'll post another patch with those changes soon.
