The migrations listed on the page for a group are not sorted. Once there are more than 4-5 migrations, this makes it hard to find the one you want.

(Ideally, they'd be sorted by dependency too, but sorting by name is a quick fix for a substantial gain -- dependencies would be quite a bit more work :)

Migrations are sorted by dependency - are you not seeing that? They are sorted in the UI in the same order as they are executed, which seems most logical to me...

Ah, I'd not noticed that.

I have a lot of migrations, and not very many dependencies, and the sort order looked confusing to me.

I think that what is happening is this:

- all the top-level migrations (those with no dependencies) are shown first, sorted by name
- 1st-level migrations (that depend on top-level) are shown next, sorted by name

With my migrations, that gave me this sort of order:

A
B
C
D
E
F
A2 (depends on A)
E2 (depends on E)
X (depends on A, D)
Y (depends on F)

I was expecting to see A2 immediately after A, similarly with E2. Though I've no idea where X would go, so I don't know if any improvement to the current ordering is actually possible.
