A volunteer is requested to port the workflow_cleanup submodule.
The Drupal Module Upgrader is a great tool for this.

Thanks a lot.

Some changes were needed:
- the links.task.yml file was not included.
- the container is now a 'details' element.
- the removal of config transitions was not included (but doesn't seem necessary)
- the removal of historiy transitions was not included (still todo)
