I've been trying to export my video styles into a Feature module that I'm working on for a site deployment. The video styles appear within the Features UI but when the code is compiled by Features, there's nothing in there to define the video styles. It's definitely misleading because it appears to the administrator that he/she is exporting the settings and saving them but it doesn't appear to actually accomplish anything in the code. Thanks!

I can confirm this behavior. As of Video Embed Field 7.x-2.0-beta11 my styles show up in Features Export dialogue, but are not written to any files and are unchecked after updating the feature. There are also no variables in Strongarm to export, making it impossible to distribute style settings to the rest of our team.

Also having this problem.

Edit: Looks like it's just happening for the styles that come with the module by default. Probably happening because they are already considered exported because they are included in code by this module. Creating a new style / cloning one of these and then exporting works.

Not sure if this issue should be open or not.

The alternative: Implement hook_video_embed_handler_info_alter() in your custom module and override defaults. Below is the sample hook i have used.

NOTE: After implementing the hook or making any changes in the Hook, you need to clear the cache because the Handler Information in backend uses the Drupal cache API.
