I just installed this on Drupal 6.2 and tested it with the Admin account...nothing happened.

No e-mail confirmation was sent and/or received.

I have yet to test it with another account, but just wanted to let you know.

Tested with two other test accounts and it worked like a charm.

FYI the confirmation email step is not taken if the user
changing the email of their own or another user's account
has the 'administer users' permission.

So your admin account would be able to change email
addresses w/o confirmation.

It's kinda clear when reading the code, but perhaps this behavior should be documented in the readme.txt file. So I'm moving this issue up as a task.

If email is changed by a user with the 'administer users' permission,
the change is effective immediately and there is no email confirmation
sent out. Documentation has been updated.
