What I did?

  1. Downloaded and enabled MultiBlock module.
  2. Created instance of a menu block (main manu for example).
  3. Positioned the block instance in visible region and saved.
  4. Enabled String Translation (i18n_string) module.

What I get?

  1. Block instances appear empty, without content.
  2. Error messages: Warning: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in check_plain() (line 1567 of /www/test/html/includes/bootstrap.inc).

What I expect?

  1. Copy of original menu to appear within block instance.

I have reverted the changes from #1319402: Can't make multiblock instance translatable and created a new release.

I believe that patch was the cause of the problem. Work should be carried out in that issue
