Hi,
I noticed a PDO Exception with devel_generate on a field_collection when you you have the Field Collection Widget set to hidden.
Because the hidden widget uses the FIELD_BEHAVIOR_CUSTOM constant for "multiple value" behavior.
So there are 2 ways to solve this problem.
1) check for this behavior in field_collection_devel_generate() and if set do nothing. Because it is set to hidden ;-)
2) make FIELD_BEHAVIOR_CUSTOM work with field_collection_devel_generate()
I decided to use solution 2.

chris matthews commentedThe patch in #2 is 3 years old, but still applied cleanly to the latest 7.x-1.x-dev snapshot and also works for me so changing the status to RTBC.
