Hi.

Recently, dev version contains validation that allow username authentication.
But, This code has bug.

Currently, stable version stores $form_state['values']['email'] for email "xxx@example.com" after validate.
But, dev version stores same value of username.

ex) $form_state['values']['name'] = 'test' and $form_state['values']['email'] = 'test';

If you aleady has user that username is different with email, another modules can't validate email ($form_state['values']['email'] after email registration validate.

Right!

I think the order of these 2 assignments got reversed which created this problem.

I don't use this feature so I don't pay a ton of attention to it :( Perhaps you could see about writing a simpletest to help ensure we avoid this regression in the future?
