No user profiles are rendering, for example, https://osteoware.si.edu/users/kochertj-0 is just presenting a white screen consisting of empty HTML. However, the user profiles can be edited by means of the administrative interface.

On the other hand users cannot edit their own profile since their profile does not load for them.

P.S. The only error message in DBlog I could find related to this issue is this one:

Details

This error message does not make any sense since line 4276 of common.inc is a line of comments.

P.S. I am not doing anything with Profile 2 or any other customization of the user profile. I am just trying to get the user profile to load as it was originally designed.

It is probably caused by a contributed module.

Have you checked your server's PHP error log? If you could post the call stack for the error then we might be able to figure out what module is causing the problem.

I am not able to check the server's PHP error log since I do not have permission to do so. I will need to put in a request for a copy of it.

Please read the advice in this comment #2494917-4: JS files added to template.php not being aggregated.

I'm sorry, but although you can create issues in Drupal Core and mark the category as "support request", we don't normally handle support requests in the Drupal Core issue queue as a regular practice (that option is mostly there for filing support issues for contributed modules and themes).

There are several support options listed if you click on "Support" at the top of Drupal.org, which will take you to:
http://drupal.org/support

There you can find out about the Drupal IRC channels, and the Forums, which are our two main support mechanisms in the Drupal community. You might also try http://drupal.stackexchange.com/

Good luck with your issue!

For the same reason, I am closing this. Please use those other resources. If you open a stackexchange topic, if you wish you may post the link in a comment on this issue, so anyone following can continue.
