I am working on a project where we have recently merged multiple non-Drupal sites into a single Drupal site. Formerly, each of the sites was using its own Disqus shortname. The Disqus module only supports the use of one shortname.

Is there any way to maintain the use of multiple shortnames within a single Drupal installation, perhaps based on path/context?

There is currently no straight-forward way to achieve that AFAIK.
