OpenLayers defines a set of Drupal Entities with table storage for the following:

  • Maps
  • Layers
  • Sources
  • Controls
  • Interactions
  • Components
  • Projections
  • Styles

The basic elements that make up a map are Maps, Layers and Sources (see image 1).
