Hi,
The screenshot and description on the module's profile page is very different from the result I get after installing on Drupal 7.35 (PHP 5.5, jQuery 1.7-1.10 ).
All I see is some collapsible options for the file browser output filtering, and then the directory and file browser.
Is it because this is under development? Or no plans to port past functionality to D7?... The silly way in which ALL unmanaged files are put in the default folder makes the need for a module like FileMaintenance huge..
Any info would be appreciated.

malc0mn commentedAll,
I've never made a proper Drupal 7 version. My reasoning is here: https://www.drupal.org/node/1194214#comment-7003082
I'm still not inclined to do a Drupal 7 port as the Media module together with the media browser plus makes this module shrivel in its entirety.
Maybe the combination of those modules will help you address the issues you have?
Cheers,
mlc.

etron770 commentedJust a question.
I (and as I can see in google, many others too) need a module to manage files which are uploaded and deleted by ftp.
Reason: f.e You have zip flies provided by an external source (f.e product manager) of pictures provided by graphic designer. The table file_managed will not be updated.
Even if the filename is the same, the size of f.e zip file is not updated and the file will be delivered too short or too long (the .zip.part file will not be renamed)
Is there a solution for that with media browser plus?

capellic@malc0mn, thanks for all your work on this. Can you update the project page (https://www.drupal.org/project/file_maintenance) to indicate the above? Given that the Drupal 6 version is no longer available on the project page, the module description is misleading. Thank you!

malc0mn commented@capellic: done ;-) also marked the module as unsupported/obsolete.
