It is appreciated if you report bugs you encounter or possible improvements (feature requests). It is recommended to use the dev version of the Flickr module for this. Despite being 'dev', it is well tested and has more features than the stable release.
Even if you are not able to supply a patch but some kind of working solution or a hint that mentions the cause of the problem, commits that result from it are likely to be attributed. In your Drupal.org user profile it will show that you contributed to the Flickr module and a link to it with your D.O. username will show up in https://www.drupal.org/node/84595/committers.
To find bugs or possible improvements install the module on your local machine or server. You can also create it in the demo sandbox (http://simplytest.me/project/flickr/7.x-1.x) and do it there. Some demo content is already provided. Embed Flickr images in any thinkable way, varying formats, styles, queries and contexts of Flickr albums. It is also the best way to find out what the latest Flickr module is capable of. It always uses the latest dev.
