Using the Adminimal Theme with the Adminimal Menu Toolbar and for some reason the account links disappear in mobile screen sizes. Can anyone confirm?

This is because adminimal_admin_menu does not add the account links to the mobile menu. I don't know why this. The attached path add the account links to the mobile menu.

Thanks for the patch. Here's a revised one which pushes the account links and logout link toward the bottom, which feels more intuitive.

Patch #7 works and the placement of the logout link is better.
There seems to be an issue with the Drupal testbot, issue created #2672046

We tried the latest dev version from #11, all that did was duplicate the admin menu on desktop and didn't even show the mobile menu. But we applied the patch from #7 and that worked.
