What are the plans to port this module to D8 ? If there is affirmation from your side to port then can i begin the work of porting as part of Google summer of code program ?

Soon i will be making a proposal for porting this module to D8.Does anyone want to mention any specifics i.e. some new features they want in D8 version.Also any mentoring help would also be appreciated :)

I had requested the module maintainer to mentor me asking via d.o. form and also give updates related to plans of porting this module to D8 like two weeks before but have not receive response yet.

@zealfire, I can't remember that I have contributed to this module, but you found my name in the list so I guess I did. I am not a maintainer of this module, but I have plenty of experience with other modules. I'll be happy to mentor you for your GSoC project.

Hello, zealfire.

Thanks for the contact. As you can see, I haven't visited the print issue queue for quite a while. Your first contact via the contact form just mentioned you wanted to port "a" module to Drupal 8, not mentioning which module it was (granted I'm not Dave Reid, and I could have looked at the 5-6 that I maintain...) . Your contact from yesterday finally indicated that you're interested in porting print.

You're more than welcome to do it, please note the following:
- There's already some work in that direction by splatio: https://www.drupal.org/sandbox/splatio/2110621
- I really don't have the time to be a GSoC mentor. I'm sorry.

For the interest of all, since this discussion was made public by you here, I'd like to say yes to your private email on being a co-mentor. It's a learning opportunity for me as well, and I hope that I can contribute enough. In any case, I believe that @Sutharsan's experience as mentor will be very useful.
