The migrate-status command will be implemented for D8 migrate. It will take an optional comma-separated list of migrations to provide status on - alternatively, a group may be specified with --group, or --all may be used to give status for all "registered" migrations (pending [#2202476]). Options other than --group or --all will be implemented in follow-up issues.

Committed the basic migrate-status command. It supports --group and --names-only, as well as a comma-separated list of specific migration IDs. The output includes group, migration ID, and total/imported/unprocessed count. The missing pieces (--refresh, display of migration status and last imported time) are dependent on core functionality that has not yet been implemented and will be the subject of follow-up issues.
