For a couple of weeks, Views Slideshow was working just fine on my site. It is a simple collection of automatically changing pics configured in a block in the left sidebar. I cannot imagine why it has suddenly stopped. I am using it on several other sites with no problem.

On the site with the problem, it just comes up with the first image and just sits there. If I manually click the "next" button, it switches to the next image, but not without REFRESHING the whole page. Certainly, that would make anyone not want to view the slides. Does anyone have a hint has to what might be going on? I have reviewed the code in the block over and over again to make sure that was not the problem. :-(

I had this issue too, but it's because I turned on "Aggregate JavaScript files" in admin/config/development/performance - turning it off resolved the issue right away.
