It would be so nice to be able to set the weight of the menu item; than my users will never have to fiddle in the core menu system (which i want to restrict access to). Again, if i manage to do this myself i will keep you posted.

I purposefully hid the weight on menu creation, as the module should keep the order of the menus synched with the order of the nodehierarchy children. My goal was to remove the need to deal with weight at all.

If you find that the module is not creating menu items in the expected order, let me know and I'll look into it.

i am sorry, i didnt realize that this can be controled from the "Site Outline" page.

Just a small little 'but'

If i am not mistaken there is no way to change this weight position from within the node edit page, however that would save a few clicks... Anyhow, the feature is there so I am content :)

You can also edit child order from the 'children' tab of the parent node.

that is true, there's no way to edit the child order on the child edit page. I've been trying to find an elegant way to accomplish this (just having a single weight field with no context would be confusing and annoying). If I figure it out it'll definitely make it into version 2.
