steinmb commentedCould you provide information about your PHP and database engine and version?
durum commentedAttached is the console error. Disabling the Media Youtube plugin makes it work again.
steinmb commented@durum Could you please try again though use the latest dev. version of media and file entity. This is not a know error as far as I see. What version of media youtube are you using btw? And do you have jquery update installed?
marcoka commentedi had stuff like this too when using jquery update because it uses 1.10 als jquery version. use alower version like 1.5 1.6 1.7 and try :)
durum commented@steinmb I use media youtube 7.x-2.0-rc4 and yes I have jquery update installed. My version of jquery is 1.10.2.
durum commentedTried jquery update with version 1.5, didn't work. Disabled jquery update and changed the theme to bartik because otherwise the current theme gives error. Didn't work either.
steinmb commentedHave a look at #2089697: JQuery update break media browser. N0 media elements are displayed in the media library tab this is about jquery update related problem. The patch is against 7.x.1 but it is a two liner so perhaps you are able to manually apply the changes and take it for a spin.
bsarchive commentedI have the same errors as @durum.
durum commentedThank you for the advice. Trying to switch to jqmulti and clear the errors and try your suggestion.
bsarchive commentedSee related issue: https://www.drupal.org/node/2353403. Looks like any jquery version after 1.4 doesn't work. I'm on 1.4 and it doesn't work.
steinmb commentedAll that sees this. Could you confirm that this also happen in dev. too?
steinmb commentedUnable to reproduce this error with latest dev of media 7.x-2.x, file_entity and jQuery update running ver. 1.10.
bsarchive commentedDisabling the Media YouTube module stopped this happening for me.
steinmb commentedRight. I'll test it with media youtube when I come back home this afternoon.
kikko commentedSame for me: disablig the Media Youtube module stop the problem, then reenablig it the problem return.

steinmb commentedRef. #12. Broken in latest stable, works in latest dev.
Details
Latest stable use the deprecated function media_access() from file_entity 7.x-1.x. It is replaced by the File Entity access API. Removed from the media module (was a submodule back then) with commit:a84bd30cd69
This change was addressed in media_youtube by commit fab87ce15d. This replaces media_access() with file_entity_access().
durum commentedCheck. Updating to media_youtube latest dev solved.
Thanks a lot steinmb.
steinmb commentedMarking this as fixed.

srobert72 commentedThis issue is fixed on editing content page. But I think there is still a problem on Media Admin page (/admin/content/media).
With JQuery Update for Admin setted to 1.10 the "add file" popup appears but incomplete.
With JQuery Update for Admin setted to 1.8 it works perfectly.
I tested both with MediaYoutube activated and disactivated, the result is the same.
