Release notes

Changes since 7.x-1.3:

The major update is that there have been numerous active trail, CSS, and other similar problems in the search results page, due to the way Search by Page was re-rendering pages in order to make highlighted search excerpts. Now, instead of doing that, Search by Page stores the text while indexing, and makes an excerpt from the stored text. This should resolve most of these problems. See issue #1899306: Search Results Page - Rendered with Incorrect CSS Cascade after Upgrading from 7.x-1.2 to 7.x-1.3 for more information.

Important Note

If you install this update, you will need to:

  1. Run update.php to get the new database field for storing this new information.
  2. Run cron until Search by Page is fully reindexed. Until you do this, your search results will show up with just the page title and no excerpts.
  3. if you are using any Search by Page sub-modules that are not distributed with Search by Page (your own custom sub-modules that is), they will need to be updated so that they do not try to render pages when search results are being presented.

Other fixes:

Avoid warning in Attachments module if incompatible field/content types are chosen (issue: #1911626: Warning on admin setup page)

Do not cache the search form block, due to form tokens (issue: #2152875: Logged-in users get "This form is outdated" error when block caching is turned on)
