First off, thank you very much for this wonderfully useful module. I am using it to display view modes based on user role and this is the only module that for me was really intuitive and easy to use. I've installed on 7x-31 and so far so good.

Do you have plans to upgrade it to Drupal 8 once Context and Display Suite are upgraded?

I have been pleasantly surprised to see the usage numbers climbing with this module. I am kind of surprised as it is not the most polished module out there and needs a bunch more love and attention to bring it up to speed. There are a number of issues in the queue that I have been meaning to find some time to fix. I will review Drupal 8 when it is launched to see if this functionality is still needed. If there is a better way to accomplish what this module does then I will push users toward that option. If there is a gap where this module would fit I would take the time to upgrade it. I have been neglecting this module more then the others I maintain so I imagine that this module would be a little later to the game.

With Drupal 8-rc2 now out I thought I would check in on the status of context for D8.

Hello - the Context module is in alpha. Any plans to port the Contextual View Modes to D8?
