Apologies if this has been raised previously but due to the removal of mailchimp_lists_load_multiple_by_name() from mailchimp 7.x-3.x, commerce_mailchimp 7.x-1.x requires the previous version (currently 7.x-2.12) in order to work.

Not sure on a solution as I'm not familiar with these modules but it looks like mailchimp 7.x-3.x has been almost a complete rewrite, commerce_mailchimp may need the same.

I am having this same issue. Can you confirm that Commerce Mailchimp does work with Mailchimp 7.x-2.12? If so, I'll have to revert to that version.

I can confirm to the extent testable on a non-production site that it works with Mailchimp 7.x.2.12. Which basically means I cannot test any of the webhooks functionality, but otherwise I have found no issue so far.

Hopefully someone will update the main page to warn about this. I just wasted an hour trying to figure out what I was doing wrong!

Same here, probably should have looked here first but we definitely need something on the front page to specify that it is incompatible at the moment.

Added a note about this issue to the commerce_mailchimp project page.

It's painful to see these kinds of issues, the project could definitely use some developer love: Seeking co-maintainer(s).

I've had a chance to fix this issue and apart from that I've made a few improvements to the module. They're included to the patch, though if you need I'll make separate patches for them:
- Choose the category field not only from Commerce Product, but from a Product Display node. Our site has the category information stored at the nodes, not at the product variations, but the module wasn't able to fetch that data.
- Pass not only products, but other line items too. It's useful to see shipping, tax and other non-product (or actually product line items with the id different from "product" line item type). Mailchimp line item title is being fetched from actual line item, so shipping will be named as the shipping service for instance - it's very helpful to know how the order was/is being shipped.
- Ability to change the cookie names to other than hardcoded strings - we've had some issues with our caching proxy that was cutting all the cookies except several core-specific and prefixed ones (yeah, that's hardcore, but still). So this patch lets admin make the cookie name prefixed or whatever.

I hope it will be helpful for you.

I'm having one issue since installing this module with the patch at #8. When an anonymous person places an order, a user account is not created. This worked fine before I installed this module. The 'Create a new account for an anonymous order' rule is active. Could this be a rules ordering/weight issue?

nelslynn, thanks for noticing, it was related to lists without any merge tags. Here's the fixed patch.

Thanks Jim.M, patch in #11 fixes the issue in #9.

hi, i applied patch from #11, then on checkout, after order submit my site crashes with message: unexpected error occured.
it must be something about rules, but i did not have time to investigate it yet.

#13, you'd have to look in your logs (PHP most likely) and see what if any exceptions were thrown that would cause that error.
