Initial work for providing support for youtube field destination handler. Seems to work for me.

In the prepare method we use the youtube_get_video_id function to save the video_id. Let me know what you think if you get a chance...

PS: Credit goes to the writers of the migration handler for the link field since I had no clue how to write a custom migration field handler before that.

This works for me. I included the new handler in my migration module and added a simple field mapping.

Thanks for your time.

PS: I think that if you want your handler to be added to the module you have to add in the "patch" format.

smiro, thanks for the code you've provided. BillyTom is right, .patch files help the most.

Either way, I've had a look at that code and migration classes from other popular contrib modules. I've cleaned it up a bit based on what I've found and I've attached the resulting patch. Could either (or better, both) of you apply this patch to this module's 7.x-1.2 release and let me know if it works for you? It would really be appreciated.

Thanks!

Patch works for me, and it seems simple enough.

Thanks to everyone for writing and reviewing the patches. I've committed the patch from #4 to the 7.x-1.x branch.

Migration for the 8.x-1.x branch will be handled in #2157175: [8.x] Add migration/upgrade path from 7 to 8.
