Hello,
I am in the process of translationg Erpal in French
I got the information on using CAT for translating Tabs, but for unknowed reason I cannot translate all tabs...
for example if I go in contacts/create contact http://erpalbeta.adret.info/node/add/erpal-contact?destination=contacts
tabs "import contact and home" are not translated (see image
Is there a possibility to get a list of all existing tab title? and translate them (in the same way as using a .po file)?
In the categories, why do I find a Project and a Projects category or general and Generali?
What would happend if I hit the Re-Initialise blue tab?
thanks

dm_mash commentedIt seems to be a bug because no strings from these tabs could be found via /admin/config/regional/translate/translate even after enabling cat_i18n. Also when limiting strings to 'CAT item' textgroup while leaving string filter empty you should get all strings from this textgroup but I'm getting 'No strings available' message.
UPD: I don't know if it's related but when editing CAT item (e.g. /admin/structure/cat/edit/erpal_home) I get messagebox with Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$translatable in function i18n_cat_item_object->get_translate_mode() (line 31 in file /srv/www/vhosts/erpal-test/profiles/erpal/modules/contrib/cat/cat_i18n.inc).

vacho commentedTranslitions works at 7.x-1.0-beta2 version. However when a CAT inherits from another item. No inherits the translation.

vacho commentedI again checked thoroughly. The real problem is in several contributed Erpal modules, these not use function t () to define several titles. So CAT module has no error in this sense.

manuelBS commentedThanks at vacho for the Investigation. Can you point out some parts that need to use t() instead so we can fix it.

vacho commentedmanuelBs, please review this issue at https://www.drupal.org/node/2380703#comment-9369525
I create a patch for "ERPAL Employee" module.
You could see that same way for the other modules that provide functionality (for translate titles) for ERPAL
Comment #8
manuelBS commentedI did but I commented there that we need to solve this issue either using the cat_18n module that is included or by changing the export to render the exported code with t()-wrapping the strings. Otherwise we will loose the translatability again if we re-export a feature.

skdrupal88My patch should fix translation problems in Cat module.
