Attached is a tiny patch for flexinode/contrib/field_url.inc. It simply adds a check that the URL doesn't already begin with http:// before it prepends the http:// protocol.

And what about https:// and ftp:// or even the less often protocols like feed:// or fish:// ? PLease mke this more general.

-1 on the implementation as it is now, +1 on the idea, though.
