Hi,

I might be missing something, but I couldn't find a way to do the following. I have a content pane displaying content, located at the URL node/%/indicators (the % is the NID of an organic groups, and this URL displays the indicators which belong to a specific group). I'd like to add a CSV export of these indicators.

I therefore created a views data export (which is the same kind of display as a feeds display) and gave it the path node/%/indicators/csv, and attached the display to the content pane. The path of the generated link is always node/all/indicators/csv, therefore exporting the indicators of ALL of the organic groups.

Is there any way I can configure the content pane to display the proper path ?

Thank you,

The views pane is managed through ctools so I'll move this and I think this is a bug as I ran through it myself recently. Here's a patch that I hope will help.

I think the bug is is partially in Views
views/plugins/views_plugin_display.inc:871 get_path() method but if the has_path() method returns TRUE it doesn't go looking around for a path on other displays.

You can see from the has_path() abstract function is was meant for this, but I'm not sure why it wasn't implemented.

  /**
   * Check to see if the display has a 'path' field.
   *
   * This is a pure function and not just a setting on the definition
   * because some displays (such as a panel pane) may have a path based
   * upon configuration.
   *
   * By default, displays do not have a path.
   */
  public function has_path() {
    return FALSE;
  }

I've pushed this to the latest dev for the next release of ctools.

This seems to have a broken the functionality of providing a more link on a content pane display. Displays that have a path are not supported by Views to be able to have a more link, even if you can configure one: #1427854: "More link" option should have configurable target for views page displays

Also moving this issue to the correct Ctools project, it was linked with japerry's sandbox.

I created a new issue for the bug reported in #6: #3181701: 'More' link in Content pane display broken

In that issue I suggested to revert the change from this issue (and reopen this issue after the revert is done).

This was recently reverted by an issue with test coverage #3181701: 'More' link in Content pane display broken

Note to self: I should drop hints to myself where I ran into the bug. #whack-a-mole
