This is the new release of 2.0 alpha. I had some CVS issues trying to get this out, so hopefully it will work the way I intend, if not there will be another release yet today.
Changes for the eventual 2.0 release. Most changes are centered around the administrations system. This administration system is much more flexible. Other changes to the admin are likely before the 2.0 beta is released.
The module was always intended to generate its own css so that users could roll with a default. This never worked the way I want. This release is much closer, although I'm still a little fuzzy on the testing of it. More will become apparent when there is more than one gallery type to go around. I'll test this feature more later to make sure it's all working properly, but it's certainly better than what WAS there. Additionally a bug in the theme function handling has been fixed.
Some minor usability improvements. The code base seems to be doing what it was intended to do, so a 1.0 release seemed fitting. New development will commence as soon as me and the dev release system can get our act together.
Fixes bug that was adding JS multiple times for each hook_nodeapi look in a panels_page group. Also some additional imagefield2 fixes. Latest version of imagefield2 should be used with this.
Initial Imagefield2 and Imagecache2 integrations as well as some css generations and usability fixes. Imagefield and imagecache (1) all still work properly, however if you've got this running right now you may need to reset your content type admin page. I ran into some issues with imagefield and imagecache2 and would like some feedback from anyone who can play with it.
This release implements the Hook system previously promised. The lightbox2 functionality of this is included (not a dependency) but does check whether or not lightbox2.module is installed and if it is, uses that instead. Additional gallery type modules can now be created and implemented as needed.
