I've patched according to this http://drupal.org/node/124403 and it worked great for a while, but suddenly I start getting the above error message, and the numer of images not shown in my block corresponds to the numer of error messages.

Is this when a user has deleted his or her account in Flickr, or is it something I have configured wrong?

I have had this error for ages when using "freso" or the e-mail address associated with that account; it goes away when using "Frederik "Freso" S. Olesen", but that doesn't bring any photos in. This, in effect, makes the module useless. :/

Have you checked whether the solution in http://drupal.org/node/263317#comment-893486 works? Basically it seems that the module doesn't pick up on the default user id put in /admin/settings/flickr. When I added the user id to the block configuration Administer / Site building / Blocks / Flickr Configure it worked perfectly for me.
