Currently when someone wants update a user object via the services module (_user_resource_update) one may specify certain fields that need updating and leave the rest out, and then services would submit a form. This works as long there are no date fields on the user entity or all date fields are populated when using this service otherwise it will start complaining that the input values are invalid.

D7 populates missing values in the input with the default values, but the default value does not get accepted by the code.

It would be nice if user objects could be saved as usual even when date fields are added to them without populating them all the time.
