Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The community needs to decide what it wants to do with /drupalgives
There should be more prominent links to - https://drupal.org/planet/drupalgive
One element is that it says that you can "Add Drupal Planet to dashboard" but it doesn't work.
There should also be links to the page from https://drupal.org/planet/
Also, why don't we have the feeds from /drupalgives scrolling through the sidebar https://drupal.org/drupalgive
This is a good initiative to highlight Drupal shops who are contributing back to Drupal.

mgiffordIt doesn't look like it...

mgiffordWould be so useful to have this featured both in the marketplace ( ie. https://www.drupal.org/marketplace/openconcept )
And on the Drupal Community page - https://www.drupal.org/community
It's not even clear how one would ever find this unless you already knew it was there - https://www.drupal.org/planet/drupalgive
We have to stop preaching to the choir, turn around and start showing the outside world how this community works.
I looked up some info on who is using this via Google and tried to get a sense of who is at all active.
It's right now not very active and right now there isn't very much reason to invest any more in this as it's so hidden away from the audience that we really should be trying to reach with this type of appeal.

dddave CreditAttribution: dddave commentedI am on it. ;) We are going to discuss /DrupalGive on this Friday's Community Tools Leadership meeting. I'll update this issue after that.

mgiffordBrilliant. Thanks for raising it there. It should be an incentive to do more, but it hasn't really worked out that way.

dddave CreditAttribution: dddave commentedOne week belated, sorry. Just want to let you know that I have a couple of ideas and short term improvements in mind. Needs some background work and some more mulling but there will be progress soon.

mgiffordGreat to hear! Makes sense to place it within the Drupal Planet component.

apadernoI am closing this issue, since Drupal Give feeds don't have new articles. Even the links given in comment #3 return a 404 error, or take to expired domains.
