Left and Right Controls wrapping pager

I've hunted for a resolve to this and wanted to come and ask the "horses mouth" as it were.

Via templates, it doesnt seem possible to acheive this control, pager set up

E.g. Have the left and right control wrapping what ever pager you have choosen.
