Hello,

I have a problem structuring my website. I have something like

section1
-- subsection1
-- subsection2
section2
section3

I created menus based on that structure. No problem.
But these menus are (really) only links.

My problem is that I want to manage content sections in my site. I mean subdivisions of all my nodes.

For instance, I want to be able to have several nodes (say node12, node31 and some others) under the subsection1 and be able to have the subsection1 menu hilighted when the reader is on one of these nodes.

I tried taxonomy_menu, but
1/ it's not easy to transform taxonomy based menus into "primary links".
2/ I do not success to associate a specific view (or anything specific) to a item of taxonomy based menu

I do not find any way to do that (but I'm new to Drupal). Any idea ?

Seems that there are some problems if you want to use views.
Anyway I will give it a try a report back here.

Thanks, MacJim

You could turn your menus into blocks, and then restrict the apperarance of the blocks to specific nodes. This should be possible even with Views.
