Hi All,

I have installed ERPAL on our internal webserver to test it and play around with it.

I have seen the screencasts that are online on youtube and it all looks very promising.
Although i feel the need for some additional documentation/support to get started and i was hoping to find this here. ;-)

Here are the things i am eager to find out:

  • How can i make sure that Person a (drupal user account that logs in) has access to everything of his company? I tried creating a contact (company) and link the drupal user account to that contact (company) but this does not seem to work?
  • Can i create categories under documents that are available for everyone? (for every contact (company))
  • Is there some kind of getting started guide available that i have missed? :-)

Thanks for helping out here!

Hello,
thanks for your Feedback. I will try to answer your questions.
what is your goal with erpal? The access system is not based on the companies. It is dependent from the roles and the project teams. You can mail me if you want and i'll show you the system in a fast webinar. Just write me an mail (andrisek@brightsolutions.de) so that we can make an appointment.

Weare trying to make a lot of screencasts to document the usage of ERPAL. But it is a lot of work.

@andrisek
The choice to install demo content will also speed up to become familiar with the own Erpal installation.

What do you think?

@meego
I think that the installation of demo content would be great. We are using a dump I created for the CeBit Demo. But the problem is there, that the projects and tasks are always red because of the deadline .. But it would be a great feature to make it like kickstart, so that you can decide, if you want the demo content.

It should be possible to set everything to the current date plus- /minus a few days or weeks.
(fire a rule for example doing this)

yes this would be great, we will look into that, when we have the time for this. right now we concentrate more into the development of the features.
