I have a multisite installation with three sites. On one of them meta tags don't show up on any content. I have tried to copy the settings to be the same as in the other sites but I can't get it to work. Neither Panels nor Display Suite is used.

- Module enabled
- Attached to the content types at admin/config/search/metatags_quick
- Added the Meta Tags Quick fields to the content types at e.g. admin/structure/types/manage/product_display/fields
- Entered tags and descriptions

Any idea why this isn't working?

Do you have display suite or panels modules enabled?

No. Meanwhile I found out that I had to go to "admin/structure/types/manage/[mycontenttype]/display" and manually make the fields visible.

I had a number of complaints for the same behaviour, and in most cases it was caused by ds, thus the question.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
