More granularity in exportables

It would be nice if it were possible to to featurize ldap config at a more granular level. For example we would like to have some but not all of our group to role mappings featurized, with the ability to add custom mappings without overriding the feature. So when creating a feature we would like to be able to choose individual mappings to add.

In the mean time, how are people managing different mappings on different sites currently?
