Simple question:
What is the best way to include 3 columns of blocks at the bottom of every page?
The same way as shown here: http://www.ndesign-studio.com/

If you want them at the
If you want them at the bottom of every page, I would simply create three different regions in your theme and plug in the according blocks..

I'm not sure if there would be a better way to do this, since I'm new to Drupal.. I guess you could also look into the Panels module, but I imagine that would be quite a bit of work to get it to display on every page?
If you want to do something
If you want to do something to do as has been done on the website you gave us then this is how I should do it:
1. Choose what region you will make as your bottom, for instance footer or maybe a custom one.
2. The columns recent post, recent comments are standard displayed as block so you one have to make about a block. Just go to your block settings page and create a new block called about.
3. Display all the blocks in the region that you want and give them weights in such a way that you are comfortable with the sequence.
4. Then make sure to add float:left to those blocks and they will nicely line up next to each other.
good luck
You lead me to the right
You lead me to the right path. I had to look for regions, themes and custom css. It was more work than I thought it would be. On the other hand it's quite easy now when I know how to do it.
thx!
